Refund and Cancellation Policy
Mistaken or duplicate donations
If you donated by mistake, or the same donation was charged twice, write to hello@narmadaseva.org within 7 days of the payment with your receipt number. Verified mistaken or duplicate donations are refunded in full to the original payment method.
After a tax exemption certificate
Once a tax exemption certificate has been issued for a donation, that donation cannot be refunded. This is why the donation form shows the 7-day caveat before you pay.
Failed payments
If money left your account but the payment shows as failed, the amount is automatically reversed by your bank or UPI app, typically within 5 to 7 working days. If it is not, write to us with the payment reference and we will chase it with Razorpay.
Recurring donations
When monthly giving launches, it will be cancellable anytime with one email, effective from the next cycle. No forms, no questions.
